About Hazel Watson-Smith
Hazel is a dedicated knitter whose passion for fibre arts began as a child, learning the intricate craft from her grandmother. She finds immense joy in sharing the skills of hand-knitting with others, teaching for The Handweavers Guild Auckland, Prosper Yarn Studio, and private students. Hazel loves transforming yarn into everything from clothing for loved ones to whimsical soft toys and comforting home decor. She deeply believes that learning new skills and engaging with your community are essential for both brain health and mental well-being. Ever-curious, Hazel is now delving into the art of spinning her own yarn, with the ultimate dream of processing a complete alpaca fleece from start to finish.
